Garage Gym Throw Down Was One Heck of a Turnout!


We had well over 100 people (contestants and spectators) come out for the Garage Gym Throw Down at LCRA. Each team of two had twenty five minutes to complete 40-60-80 reps of burpee tire jumps, American Swings, Sandbag over the shoulder and carry their equipment to the bottom of a 3 level garage. Once completed they had to throw 6lb med balls approx 7-10 feet at a target for 20 reps, THEN once completed they had three rounds of 30 reps of tire shoulder press, sandbag sprawls and KB squats. Oh no, they didn't stop there. Then they had to run up the three level garage and drop off their equipment at stations on the way up. They conquered!!!! We had three heats and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each heat. Check out the final winners at SICFIT.com (will be posted after Monday). Congrats to everyone who participated.
